Psalm 119:11 - "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."

Like it or not words impact us greatly. The words that have been spoken to us over the years of our lives have formed us into who we are, how we respond and what we think. If a parent consistently tells a child they are important and can do great things, those words will develop into a belief system that makes that child act on those thoughts. However, if a child is consistently told what they are not or can not do, defeat and disappointments are inevitable.
